On your arrive in the foreign country you need information on the area where you will be living for a period and you should also
- calculate the route to get to the company by using the public transport
- check the location of public services (chemist, general practitioner, post office, banks and cash disposal machines) and know the map of the area
- get further information on the local culture and traditions.
On your first day at the host training organization you should get information on
- the internal organization (management, administration staff), the facilities and the equipment (materials, laboratories, etc.)
- the location of the classrooms and the laboratories, the libraries and other areas where you can stay in case you don't attend the lessons
- safety regulations
- internal rules
- school timetable.
